This Privacy Policy explains what information PJL AI ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the PJL AI and Brick by Brick Management platform.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, role (landlord, tenant, admin).
- Property and tenant data: addresses, lease terms, rent amounts, work orders, documents you upload.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we store transaction IDs and status only.
- Usage data: pages viewed, AI prompts, errors — used to improve the Service.
How we use it
- Provide and operate the Service.
- Process payments and rent transfers.
- Send transactional email (receipts, password resets, tenant invites).
- Detect abuse and enforce our Terms.
- Improve features and AI quality.
Sharing
We share data only with:
- Subprocessors: Supabase (database, auth), Stripe (payments), Lovable (hosting), OpenAI / Google (AI inference).
- Other users: landlords can see tenant data for their own properties; tenants can see lease data for their unit.
- Law enforcement: when legally required.
We do not sell personal data.
Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and tax obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-Level Security policies enforce access controls in the database. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to the contact below.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email us to exercise these rights.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email.
